Prior to her appointment as Assistant Secretary for MassHealth in June 2021, Amanda served as Deputy Medicaid Director, overseeing MassHealth's provider and pharmacy programs, behavioral health, policy, safety net programs, and other strategic initiatives. Amanda joined MassHealth in 2011 and served as Chief of Staff from 2014-2018. Prior to joining MassHealth, Amanda worked on state policy and voting access in California and Massachusetts. She received her B.A. from Stanford University and her Master's in Public Policy from the Harvard Kennedy School.
