Leads all of the clinical work at Buckeye Health Plan with oversight of Medical Affairs, Population Health (including Equity), Quality, and Pharmacy. [3] He helped build and guide award-winning programs such as Start Smart for Your Baby®, New Leaf (an addiction in pregnancy program), and other preterm birth prevention programs. [3] He remains active in community outreach that impacts mothers and families in Ohio and has served on the Executive Committee Member of the Ohio Collaborative to Prevent Infant Mortality (OCPIM). [3] He is a National Advisory Council Member of the Pathways Community Hub Institute and a member of the Coding and Reimbursement Committee for the Society of Fetal Medicine. [3] He completed his OB/GYN residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and obtained an MBA in Healthcare. [3]
Responsible for Provider Data Excellence, Claims Operations, and Grievance and Appeals across all Buckeye's Medicaid, Medicare, Marketplace and MyCare Ohio products. [3] She has vast experience with streamlining complex processes and applying high-level strategy to achieve demonstrable results. [3]
Responsible for clinical operations including case management, utilization management and prior authorization for programs including Covered Families and Children (CFC), Aged, Blind and Disabled (ABD), Children with Special Health Care Needs, Medicaid Expansion, MyCare Ohio, Medicare Advantage Special Needs Plan, and Marketplace.
