Blue KC, which administers the Federal Employee Program (FEP), announced the implementation of the new Postal Service Health Benefits (PSHB) Program effective January 1, 2025, as part of the Federal Employees Health Benefits (FEHB) Program. This program provides health benefits plans to eligible Postal Service employees, annuitants, and their families. Additionally, Blue KC highlighted enhancements to their Provider Portal, offering improved access to member eligibility, benefits, prior authorization, and claims inquiry.

Effective January 1, 2025, postal employees began participating in the Postal Service Health Benefits Program (PSHB) under the Federal Employee Program (FEP). Providers were advised that postal employees in the PSHB program would have new ID cards with new enrollment codes. Federal and USPS employees in FEP and their families will retain the same coverage and benefits in 2025, with only the PSHB ID card and customer service number being new for PSHB members.
