Michael Kavouras is VP of Medicare Strategic Operations at Aetna, a role in which he has served since February 2022. Prior to this role, Kavouras was VP of Aetna's Individual MA Strategy and Performance Management team. He also served as VP of Star Ratings for Aetna in the three years prior. Before Aetna acquired Coventry Health Care, Inc. (in May 2013), Kavouras was Coventry's Vice President for Performance Management which encompassed Medicare Stars, Operational Compliance, and the Annual Election Period Command Center. Kavouras also spent 12 years at the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services in numerous leadership positions in the Medicare Advantage and Prescription Drug Programs. His current focus includes Wyoming.
