On May 29, 2025, CVS Health filed a lawsuit to block Arkansas Act 624, a law that the company states will force the closure of 23 CVS Pharmacy locations, eliminate hundreds of jobs, and increase costs for Arkansans. CVS Health argues the law is unconstitutional, harms patients by restricting access to medication, and undermines fair competition, being designed to target CVS Health while protecting in-state pharmacies. The company asserts the law violates the Constitution's Dormant Commerce Clause and Equal Protection rights, and is preempted by federal law. CVS Health stated they are evaluating all options to keep their pharmacies open, including through this legal action.

Effective January 1, 2025, a chiropractic benefit through WholeHealth Living is offered on all Medicare Advantage D-SNP (HMO and PPO) plans in Alabama, Arkansas, Louisiana, and Mississippi. This benefit includes 12 in-network annual visits with a $0 copay and no referral requirement.
