Tim Summers is the AARP Montana State Director. [4, 5, 9, 10]
Sandy Bailey was appointed as State President in January 2023, which is the highest state-level volunteer position. [4] She is a Pony resident and leads the AARP Montana volunteer Executive Council. [4] She is a Professor Emeritus from Montana State University and holds a doctorate in Family Studies from Oregon State University. Her research and programming focused on parenting in various family structures and she started the Montana Grandparents Raising Grandchildren, now the Montana Kinship Navigator Program through MSU Extension. She has also created programming through MSU Extension focusing on family caregiving. [4]
Kristin Page-Nei was announced as the new Director of Advocacy and Outreach in September 2024. [5] In this role, she serves as the advocacy lead for AARP in Montana with direct responsibility for federal, state, and local advocacy, government relations, and policy issues. [5] She will also work on outreach initiatives and engage volunteers in grassroots activities. [5] She graduated from the University of Montana with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a Public Administration Emphasis. [5]
Loraine Wodnik joined the AARP Montana Office as the new State and Community Engagement Analyst. [10] She was employed with the State of Montana for 25 years, serving in various roles including Budget Analyst, Administrative Officer, Accountant, Operations Manager, Fiscal Administrator, and Deputy Director of Corrections. [10] She holds a Masters Degree in Public Administration from the University of Montana and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from California State University at Dominguez Hills. [10] She has served on the AARP Montana Executive Council since 2021 and volunteers with Helena Food Share. [10]
